Sunflowers in Snohomish

We've planted over 8 acres of Sunflowers, we have everything from classic yellow to exotic red!

Senior Sunflower Hour (9-10am):

In order to remain available to the most vulnerable members of our community, we are open an hour early for those who are age 60+ or have a compromised immune system. Tickets available to seniors can be purchased online or on-site. If you do not fall into this category, we instead invite you to purchase a General Admission timed-ticket below. Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to make our farm safe and accessible.

Our commitment to safety surrounding COVID-19:

Your safety and the safety of our staff is our top priority. We are looking forward to your visit, and have just a few new processes and procedures for guests to follow:

  • Guests and staff are required to comply with all current Washington State regulations and mandates regarding face-coverings and social distancing. If you do not have a face-covering you cannot take part in the U-Pick.

  • Group sizes on the farm are limited to 5 or fewer people. Larger groups must split into smaller groups.

  • We are organizing our U-Pick experience with timed-ticketing. This will allow us to regulate how many people are on the farm property at one time. DO NOT show up to someone else's time slot.

  • There will be sanitizing stations around the farm.

  • The only restrooms available to the public will be portable restrooms (honey buckets).

  • Our U-Pick Sunflower field is subject to current Washington State regulations and mandates. We've planned the U-Pick as a walk-thru experience but may need to make it a drive-thru experience instead. Please follow us on Facebook or Instagram to stay informed of any changes.

    • There will be limited pick-up food options from our commercial kitchen (hamburgers, hot dogs, etc). We will have contactless food ordering & pick-up utilizing a phone app.

  • Unfortunately there will not be a hayride, no kids activities (slide, play area, jump pad, etc), no beer garden, and the barn will be closed to the public.

Plan Ahead:

  • Your time slot is for 1 hour. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes early for your time-slot.

  • Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times by their parents.

  • Please do NOT bring pets of any kind.

  • Bees are hard at work in our field. If you are allergic, please take any necessary precautions.

  • We recommend bringing your own clippers, but will have them available on site as well. We will be sanitizing our clippers here on-site.

For all photographers & guests; feel free to take as many photos as you like during your time-slot. Photographers may not solicit guests while at the farm. Email info@ThomasFamilyFarm.com to schedule private sessions outside of regular hours.

DISCLAIMER: Sunflowers are agricultural crops and therefore subject to weather, growing conditions and ripening variables. We cannot guarantee that the sunflowers will bloom on a particular date, so prepare to be flexible by 7-10 days when purchasing an admission ticket.
